Imagining Godzilla is a mobile platform for undertaking artistic and other forms of research that are appropriate for a sailing vessel. The shallow draft (less than 1m) allows the boat to get close inshore. The twin-hulled catamaran form provides a wide and stable platform underway, at anchor, or in harbour for various types of activity. Under sail, the boat cruises comfortably at between 6 to 8 knots.
The plan is to arrive in Holmsund on Friday 26th June and stay until Sunday 28th. Artists who would like to undertake a research project on the boat are welcome to apply before this Sunday May 24th!
