Let’s gather to discover and talk about the growing trend of building cyberdecks that is taking over some parts of the internet (and beyond), where young people (and especially young girls) are building custom PCs assembled from mismatched parts as a way to counter the homogeneity of Big Tech and take back control, both through function and aesthetics.
This will be an informal gathering for the Postindustrial Making working group at UmArts, and everyone intrigued by the topic is welcome to join!
If you happen to have something to show or share, feel free to bring it along!
