Drop-in to Michael Lukaszuk‘s open studio session at UmArts. Michael Lukaszuk is an electronic music composer, sound artist and UmArts Postdoc in New Media Art with the Department of Creative Studies and Informatics. His postdoctoral project explores generative music and improvisation with digital devices. Michael is developing a series of sound art projects that use algorithmic approaches to exploring digital liveness, along with spatial aspects of electronic music.
On 28 May he will be using a surround sound system to further develop the project, and will talk about how algorithmic media influences the creative process when composing with electronic sounds. Feel free to drop by between 10.00-15.00.
Part of this new work will be presented at the 2025 International Computer Music Conference.
