The Utility of Legal Artistic Research

Lucy Finchett-Maddock will give the Monday Lecture at Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, exploring the usefulness of artistic research for legal questions, and legal frameworks for practice-based research. Drawing on the ways in which artists engage with legal questions, the instruments, aesthetics and ethics of law to explore different approaches to natural law, case law, and the commons.
