Opening of exhibition at Bildmuseet during Art Friday 13 March 17.00-00.00

UmArts WASP-HS Guest Professor Sarah Cook has spent the last three years researching how contemporary artists are investigating the social and ethical discourses of AI, as part of the UmArts Art and AI research group. The resulting large group exhibition curated with Katarina Pierre, Director of Bildmuseet investigates who holds the power when AI enters our lives. The exhibition includes new work by Daniel Shanken, UmArts Art and AI Postdoc in Architecture supported by WASP-HS, whose image is featured above; along with UmArts/TAIGA Artists in Residence Zeno Gries and Florian Model. Many of the artists in the exhibition have undertaken research for new commissions in partnership with UmArts, including conversations with researchers in the TAIGA network.
