On 17 June art and design researchers from the Arctic Sustainable Arts and Design network (ASAD) will present work in a pop-up exhibition format at Umeå Institute of Design.
The session will take the form of an open, interactive space designed for informal encounters, dialogue, and shared reflection on the micro-changes initiated by participatory and community-driven and art and design research, and art and design education research.
The event highlights how research through art and design can generate situated, embodied, and relational understandings of the North. Artists and designers participating in this event will be selected based on a call through the network.
